The First Day (totally open)

<sup>The annoying beep of an alarm clock drew Naruto from his thick blanket of sleep. He groaned and rolled onto his side and turned onto his side to smack the clock. It didn't stop ringing, ut Naruto fell back to sleep, the annoying blare was growling in strength, but Naruto could somehow ignore it. It would have continued like that the noise was so obnoxious, both of his parents could hear it downstairs in the kitchen. Arashi rolled his eyes and sighed as he walked upstairs and turned off the alarm clock before putting a hand on his son's shoulder, "Naruto, wake up."

The teen groaned again and mumbled something that was indeciferable and rolled over, attempting to go back to sleep. His father sighed and pulled off his covers and turned on the light to his room, "If you don't get up, you'll be late to your first day of school." Naruto sighed and pushed himself to sitting and rubbed his eyes tiredly before standing. He trudged in a zombie-like state to the bathroom where the icyness of the water woke him up and he hurried to turn up the heat. After he was finished, he got out, ran his fingers through his hair, brushed his teeth and wrapped a towel around his waist as he walked to his bedroom. He found his school uniform folded on his dresser, if he didn't have his mom around everyday, he didn't know what he would do. He dressed quickly and hung hid tie around his neck as he walked down the stairs, the smells of breakfast calling to him.

His mother had made him toast, eggs, and pancakes, but because of his late start, he could only grab a piece of toast and then kissed his mom goodbye and thanks before grabbing his backpack and trailing off after his father to the car. The drive was short but when they approached, Naruto felt the kneading dread of school, he sighed and looked up to his father, "Do I have to go?" He gave his son a weak smile and nodded, "Yeah, you do." With an annoyed sigh, Naruto climbed from the car and waved his dad off before taking a look at the school before him. It wasn't as big as last year, but maybe it was because last year he was just a freshman. He looked around and didn't see any of his friends so he headed to his locker. Hopefully on the way he would at least see someone he knew.</sup>

[Kiba]

kiba sighed and walked slowly with Akamaru. His tie was loose, and he didn't expect teachers to care. He wouldn't tighten it anyway. Kiba looked around, one hand in his pocket, the other opening his locker. While he was looking, he saw Naruto. He didn't bother to say a word.

Akamaru barked loudly and drew attention to many people in the hall. When Kiba's locker was opened, he put a a History book and a foreign language book inside. His first class was foreign languages. It was also his most hated class. Kiba sighed and decided to wlak toward Naruto. He didn't have any intent to talk to him. Just to draw his attanton to him. Kiba wasn't the type to start a conversation. He was also wondering if Naruto remembered him.

<sup>Naruto blinked as he heard the sounds of a dog barking loudly in the halls. Akamaru? He thought to himself, he turned around and of coarse it was none other than Kiba Inuzuka and Akamaru. He grinned a waved to him, he hadn't seen Kiba around much and very rarely over the summer. He finished stowing away his books and closed his locker before turning to face his seemingly long-lost friend. Naruto recalled all the years that they had been such good friends and he suddenly missed them dearly. Naruto and Kiba had made one hell of a pair, especially alongside Chouji and Shikamaru, they were the infamous four, but they had been scattered pretty far since then.

He grinned and reached to pet Akamaru gently on the head, the dog wagged its tail and Naruto llooked up to Kiba as he drew away his hand. "Hey, how was your summer?" They began to walk forward, Naruto had first period this way and he hoped Kiba perhaps did as well so they could talk a bit. It was still a good twenty minutes until school started, but he wanted to catch up with a few people beforehand. Mostly Sasuke, he had seen him a few days before, being best friends and all. He hoped he had a few classes with him, it would be nice, since last year they had so few. Naruto directed his attantion to Kiba, his blue eyes sparkling with interest.</sup>

[Kiba]

"Heh! Hey Naruto!" Kiba's plan had worked. He knew Naruto was going to start a conversation. When Naruto asked how his summer was, he knew they were gonna be friends the whole year. "It was great! How was your summer, Naruto?" Kiba asked patiently. Akamaru had been smiling at Naruto ever since he saw him. Naruto was a great friend. Although he could be a total idiot at times.

Kiba started walking with Naruto. "So Naruto, what's your first class?" Kiba questioned. "Actually, what's your scedule?" Kiba asked while scratching behind Akamaru's ears. Kiba took a treat out of his pocket and fed it to Akamaru. Akamaru barked once again, attracting more attention. "Erm, Akamaru, settle down! Too muce attention coming our way." Kiba said while scratching behind his ears once again. He looked over at Naruto to see if he was still there. There were only fifteen minutes until school started and Kiba planned on finding some friends. He was wondering if Shino or Hinata was here. He really wanted to find Hinata.

<sup>Naruto grinned at both Kiba and Akamaru, it was good to see them again. He really did miss their friendship and made a pact to himself that he would stay great friends with the both of them all year. He nodded, "Mine was pretty good as well, I mostly slept, ate, and played video games. The necesities right?" As they continued to chat, Naruto wondered about his schedule himself and pulled it from his pocket. He glanced it over, "I have Algebra first." He thrusted his schedule over to Kiba, "Take a look."

He looked over Kiba's own classes and smiled as a few of them were the same. "I guess I'll see you everyday." He grinned and smirked lightly, "We'll have to hink of new ways to sneak Akamaru to school." Naruto loved finding ways to do things they weren't supposed to and he knew Kiba loved it too. Hence why they made such a good team. This year should be better then last, or so Naruto hoped.</sup>

[Hyoshi]

<sup>Kakashi had wokened up early for once this early day prepared to meet all of his new and old students again. He had a feeling that he is going to meet a few new people that would be interesting characters, like last year, there was always someone in his class that acts up and he would get the pleasure in punshing them. Once Kakashi gotten dressed in his white botton down shirt, black tie, pants and shoes, Kakashi started his walk to work. Kakashi was well aware of the dress code, but liked to wear his tie loosly, which he hopped Tsunade would not bother him with this year.

Once walking into the school building Kakashi started his normal greetings, many waved to him, and he waved back seeing that they were in a hurrie, Kakashi did not bother to start a convastation with them. Suddenly Kakashi walked by a student with a dog inside the school with him. 'I guess these will be the new class clown.' Kakashi thought amuzed walkin to them. "You know that dogs aren't allowed here. Don't ya?" Kakashi asked leaning down so that he would be the same height Kiba would be.

Turning ove to Naruto he waved at him pleasently. "Good morning students." He said with a wave as a greeting. "I'm Mr. Hatake." He introduced himself freely still with an unseen smile on his face because of the mask he was wearing. Kakashi then obsered the school, seeing that nothing had changed a bit since he had left for summer, the colors were still the same, and he was sure the other teachers were still happy as ever about who they have for class. Kakashi stood up straight again, crossing his arms.</sup>

[Kiba]

"Ehh, yeah. Akamaru followed me." Kiba was lying. Kiba wouldn't be seperated from Akamaru that easily. He didn't care how much trouble he had gotten into. Akamaru was like pom-pom's to the cheerleaders. He was like crack for the druggies. "Mr. Hatake, ehh?" Kiba was looking down. Kiba could never leave Akamaru in his locker. Akamaru would be bored to tears."Mr. Hatake, Akamaru isin't leaving my sight." He spoke bravely.

Kiba wouldn't mind if they said Akamaru couldn't come. Like Naruto said, they would find a way to sneak them in. Kiba turned back to Naruto and winked. Kiba was hoping he was unnoticed. Kiba then realized Mr. Hatake and him were both wearing their ties loose. Kiba found something in common. "See you in class, Naruto." Kiba said loudly. Akamaru barked at Mr. Hatake for some reason. He knew that he wasn't going to let him get away with Akamaru, but he knew he wasn't going to be a mean teacher.

<sup>Naruto blinked at the sudden appearance of the teacher, he grinned innocently and just stayed silent until Kiba broke out. Then his face fell into a triumphant grin and he nodded in agreement. Naruto caught his wink and he smirked in response, he and Kiba were like the two trouble-makers of their year, they would make an impact, Naruto just knew it. His eyes inspected the teacher before him and he raised an eyebrow, he didn't seem like much of a threat in his opinion, but then again, Naruto wrongly underestimated people all the time and many times something bad happened to him because of it.

He took that into consideration before nodding to Kiba as he walked off with Akamaru and wondered what the teacher would do now. Still a bit confused, he grinned innocently again and turned, "See you next period Mr. Hatake." He waved to him over his shoulder and walked off in the other direction, he bright orange backpack hanging loosely on one shoulder. His own tie was loosely tied around his neck and off center around his neck. Naruto was definately an odd guy, if this new teacher hadn't figured it out yet, he soon would.</sup>

<sup>Temari smiled brilliantly, things were going as planned. Shikamaru was still her friends, and she still had many others to catch up with. Most were boys, though, for the other girls were far too preppy or shy for her. Hinata, way too shy. Ino, a brat. Sakura, a prep. Passing the hallways to go to check out her new classes, she looked around. Spotting Kiba and Naruto, she smiled mischievously, her tie still wrapped around her head like a turban. This would be great, while Kakashi was lecturing Kiba like he was just a child, Temari would pass by, and he would see her, leaving them alone. She smirked, this was going to be hilarious.

Walking down the hall, she stopped next to them. "Hey guys." She was faced away from Kakashi, but her face held a grin that meant she was close to laughing hysterically. Temari had definitely saved their butts. If anyone were to even bother with the dress code, it would be the new math teacher. She shook her head, seeing that he stooped down to meet Kiba's height. Temari rolled her turqoise eyes, giving them a look that said, "Oh boy." Ignoring Kakashi, she pretended to start a convorsation. "So, hi guys, how's it going?" Temari was extremely close to laughing now, but tried not to, biting her lip in order to stay calm, or at least partly. Her giant fan was still attached to her back.

Now he could really try and get at her for her giant fan, which she was a rebel and brought just because they said not too, and wore her tie on her head. She winked at them both, and crossed her arms, completely ignoring Kakashi, now. Oh, she could already see the displeasure on the teachers' faces. This was going to be a great year, she could tell already.</sup>

[Tasha]

Beep! Beep! Beep!

Tasha rolled to her other side, “oh, shut up you stupid thing!”
She blinked her tired eyes in annoyance as it kept going. She knew it would until she was to hit her hand down on it, which she felt too lazy to do. But, she knew if she didn’t get up her mother would come up to drag her out of bed. She grumbled angrily as she hit the silence button and sat up. Why? Why did it have to be today? School was so…so…ugh!

She lifted herself and began to get ready, which should’ve only taken 5 minutes at the most. Instead, she wasted time and it actually took 20 minutes for her to get ready.
I hate this…why did summer end?
Her gaze went up to her ceiling, but she was aware that she had to go. So, she hurriedly came downstairs from her room and grabbed her backpack. She had everything, right? Did it really matter? The only thing she ever did at school was…. what did she do? Well, she knew she easily kept up with schoolwork, but the stupid subject called math was in her way currently. It was her first class! How was she going to concentrate on it?
I’m so gonna die…

Upon arrival at the school, she walked silently inside, staring at the ground. Her paper that held all her classes and where they were was firmly in her hand. It also told her where her locker was and the combination. Her locker was about in the middle of the hallway, how fun. She’d have to get through everyone down the cramped hall, and that made her give an irritated sigh. Wow, she really just wasn’t in the best mood today, was she?

As she walked, something caught her eye. A teacher she didn’t know personally but knew from others, Mr. Hatake. He was going to be her geometry teacher, right? He looked nice, but who knew with these teachers? She began at the process of opening her locker, keeping her eyes away from the situation. Though, she was curious as to what he was lecturing about. Though, it probably wasn’t to her interest at the moment. She opened her locker, put all she didn’t need inside of it, and then grabbed her geometry stuff. At least, the stuff she currently had for it. They would get books and whatever else the school gave today, right?

She closed the locker and sighed, and then looked around. Class was going to start sometime, better not be late, eh? Though, they usually didn’t count many late on the first day. A way of being nice, no? She shook her head silently and began to head to class, only a few more years of this. She had to keep reminding herself this, just a few more years.

[Hyoshi]

<sup>Kakashi caught the wink from Kiba to Naruto but ignored it, if these were his new students he was going to have fun this year. When both started to walk off Kakashi reached out for the both of them, hoping to catch them by the collor and pull them back, have his arms around their neck in an arm lock. "I might let this pass if he does not bother any-" Kakashi tried to finish before seeing a strange girl with a giant fan and a strange way of wearing her tie walked by. Obviously they knew each other, and Kakashi suddenly had a hugh sweatdrop on his head.

"Hello there young lady. Interresting choice of fasion." Kakashi said still wearing his smile as if he did not care for what Temari was wearing, he did not knew girls would make such a comosion, most he knew in his classes would wear it simplely with a few disigns. He saw the mischiefness in each of their eyes, but that only caused him to chuckle. What ever they were planing he was going to find out, simple as that. Something told him he was going to love this year's class. "I'm Mr. Hatake." Kakashi introduced himself again.

Then he turned his head away to another girl walking by. The only thing he could do was nod at her as a greeting. A sparckle came into his eyes meaning he was thinking of new punshiments and or assisments for the kids if they ever gotten in trouble in his class, he doesn't want to look like a push over now, does he?</sup>

<sup>Being suddenly caught around the neck and pulled directly back the way he had come shocked Naruto. His eyes widened as Mr. Hatake put his arms around their necks, (of coarse in no was threateningly), and he grinned nervously. "Nice to meet yeh." Naruto chuckled, still quite nervous, being in the situation he was. "I'm Naruto, Naruto Uzumaki." He stole a glance at Kiba and gave him a strange look. This year was going to be one heck of a challenge, especially with someone like this for a teacher. He hoped the two of them could still get away with things. For that thought, he practically kicked himself. How could Naruto Uzumaki and Kiba Inuzuka not pull something huge off? They were infamous! At least in their own minds.

Naruto grinned slightly in thought of this and attempted to walk away, "Mr. Hatake, I-I really gotta get to class." Of coarse, Naruto was making this all up on the spot, he had no clue who his next period teacher was, merely an excuse to get away, he needed to consult some more with Kiba. "I've heard my next period teacher hates having students come late, so I'm gonna go meet Mr.-" (Another lie.) In doing so he glanced down at his schedule, his eyes widened and his jaw dropped. On the paper it read 'Hour One - Hatake Algebra - 301.' He laughed again nervously, life's a bitch.</sup>

[Kiba]

while Kiba was walking away he felt a slight tug on his collar. "Hey, back off!" He said turning around. He realized it was Mr. Hatake. He looked at Naruto. He was planning an escape. Something awesome came up. An idiotic looking girl wearing her tie around her head."Temari!" Kiba chuckled and began to walk off. Kiba, looking back too see what was going on, saw naruto looking at his list. "Heh, see you soon, Naruto." He said silently.

While he was walking he saw a girl. A she looked somewhat farmilliar. kiba knew he didn't know her, though."Erm, I have those moments too much" He chukled to himself. Kiba didn't want to start a conversation with her. Kiba wasn't the kind to do that. Kiba looked into her eyes with a confused yet brilliant smirk. Kiba had thought he had gotten away. He probobly did. Kiba pulled Akamaru out of his shirt and began to pat him on hte head. Kiba was around the corner, away from everyone else.

The hallway he was in was desurted. Some of the light were out. Kiba put Akamaru back into his hirt and slowly wandered down the hall. "Ugh, what's this?!" He said to himself. "It's, Abandoned!" Kiba knew something was going to happen. Like someone walking into the hall, someone finding him, or even the bell ringing. Kiba took a look at his schedule. He saw he had Foreign Languages first. Kiba sighed. "I Hate Foreign Languages."
He muttered to himself.

<sup>Kakashi stopped dead in his tracks when he saw her, causing her grin to widen. She nodded in agreement. "Thank you, I think it's quite.. Flashy, If I do say so myself." Temari was laughing so hard in her head, she felt she could explode out loud any second. "Oh, I know who you are." He was the new math teacher, Mr. Hatake. Man, he was in for a rough ride if he thought the kids were going to be good, and were up to no mischief. We were talking abou the troublesome four, here! As he turned his head away to face another girl, quickly she mouth the words "Go!" To them, and started up a convorsation so they could leave.

Kiba had already left, it was only Naruto who needed to leave now. "So, Mr. Hatake, you teach math, right?" Temari started off. She was going to go into a big shpiel about how she loved math, and how she couldn't wait for class to start so they could go. Naruto wouldn't shut his mouth, though. She knew he could manage to get away, he was just slippery like that. "I love math, it's one of my favorite subjects!" A lie, and a big one at that. "I'm in your Honors Pre Calc. Class." Her smile was big and innocent, or at least she tried to make it seem that way. But Mr. Hatake could probably see in her eyes that it was all mischief. Again, her eyes averted away to Naruto's behind Mr. Hatake's back, signalling for him to leave.</sup>

<sup>Kakashi watched Kiba walked off but did not do anything but let Naruto as he blaber on about his first class. Kakashi almost laughed when he heard who Naruto had next period. "Oh, he does hate kids that are late." Kakashi's said a bit slyly putting both his arms on Temari's and Naruto's shoulders. "He also hates liers." Kakashi informed them happily in thrid person manner. If they wanted to get away of corse he will let them, it's not like he could do anything bad to them, unless they are up to something.

"Tell me, why are you in such hurry? Class does not start yet kids." He said to them while pretending not to notice that they were planing to leave. Kakashi did not want to ruin their little fun of thinking he could be easily fooled. He moved his hands away from the two and placed one behind the back of his head to rub and closing his eyes a bit. Being a teacher was a bit harder then he imagened as a kid.</sup>
