[Tasha]

[After First Day of School]

Ok, so she had lived through the first day! Tasha walked rather quickly as she thought about it. But, she had other things on her mind as well. A brown paper bag was firmly in her right hand as she walked. Her pace remained quick because she was nervous. Tasha didn’t want someone following her at the moment. But she tried to not act suspicious, though it was quite hard to do so. She would look over her shoulder every now and then just to make sure someone wasn’t there. It caused her to feel paranoid in a sense, but she always had been a little crazy. Who wasn’t?

Tasha made her way to the park, slipping as silently as possible into it. The place was empty, deserted. That was good for Tasha, and she was happy that no one else was around. As she looked around, she began to contemplate on something. Then, she sighed and whistled loudly. Where was she?

A small figure poked her head out of a tube slide, where the figure had been hiding. She bore cuts, scars, and bruises on her body, and that was clearly visible as she came out of the slide. Her clothes were tattered and torn in many places, but still wearable. The girl was only 8 years old, but it was kinda hard to tell since she was underweight. Though, her height would probably help you with that.

Her gray eyes shone timidly as she approached Tasha, nodding a quiet greeting. Then, she looked up and her eyes seemed to glaze over in thought. Though, it quickly passed as her eyes shifted to the bag. She blinked, trying to sum up some words.
“F-for…me?” Her voice came out hushed and very quiet.

Only when Tasha nodded and smiled did she cautiously reach out and take the bag. Then she looked inside of it, seeing that food was inside it.
“..thank you…”
She sat down and began to eat slowly. What she was eating now was a turkey sandwich. She knew but didn’t say anything, that Tasha had given her school lunch to her. She felt guilty for eating it, as she knew Tasha was probably starved. But, she knew Tasha wouldn’t let her give it back now.

<sup>Finally the first day was over! Jacky walked slowly through the park, her backpack over one shoulder and her school tie loose around her neck. A large, black, wolf-looking dog walked obediantly at her side as they made their way through the park. Her dog, Blue (lmao Wolf's Rain) was one of her best friends and everyday before school got out, walked to the school and met her in front of it. They home together, it might have been an odd sigh to some, but it was quite normal for the two of them. But as they went through the park, Blue stopped, her ears harked and she turned her head to the left. "What is it girl?" The dog let out a small yelp and sniffed the air gently before starting off in that direction. Jacky followed, interrested with what could possible take so much attention from her dog.

Blue was a few feet ahead and rounded a corner and stopped, penised her head to the side and watched two girls befoe her interact. Jacky came around moments later and th sight of the battered young girl made her gasp, but she held it in, not wanting to offend either of them. She blinked and waited until they noticed the sudden presence that had occupied the space directly around them. "Hi, sorry, my dog-" And as she was about to grab Blue's collar and drag her away, the dog walked forward to the small girl and sat beside her. She could tell something was wrong and she layed her large head onto the girl's lap, her blue eyes boreing up into her lifeless grey ones. Jacky's eyes widened and she blinked a couple of times, not knowing what to say.</sup>

[Tasha]

Tasha had sat down and was watching Yang eat, she noticed that some of her wounds were fresh. Her eyes showed concern in them as she watched Yang.
"Did...did they find you again...Yang? Your wounds, some are fresh..."
She waited for an answer as Yang stopped eating and paused. The small girl had looked up at her and then slowly nodded. Then, she went back to eating in her silence.

"We'll have to move your hiding place," Tasha replied quietly, a look of guilt and sorrow in her eyes. "I wish you could just stay in my house...but my parents...attention would be drawn to you."
She sighed and then heard a gasp and it made her turn her head. Her hazel eyes widened as she spotted someone was there. So was a large dog, one that Tasha thought she reconized.

They had found her again, and she had gotten so brutally beaten. It made Yang shiver as she thought about it. She had to keep running, though. She couldn't let them keep her any longer. As her lifeless eyes lifted up quickly to the sound of the bark, her body froze. She was locked into place as she stared at the girl and dog, her eyes wide with a sudden fear.

The dog was coming close to her, and Yang wanted to move. She wanted to run away, but her body was frozen in fear. The dog sat next to her, but her eyes remained on Jacky. Was she going to take her back? No! She couldn't go back! She felt warmth on her lap and she noticed the dog staring up at her. She blinked timidly and then tried to move away, but was still frozen in place.

<sup>Jacky felt a stab of sadness hit her hard in the chest as she took in the sight of the bruised and beaten little girl. She just wanted to hug her and tell her everything would be all right, even though, it most likely wouldn't. Then in the meantime she would go and kill the people who did such a horrile thing to such a fragile girl. She seemed like she had been happy once, the sparkle in her eyes made Jacky think that her life had just drastically taken a turn for the worst. Jacky seemed to be frozen in time, just staring at the girl, but her head darted up to meet the other girl's eyes. She scanned her body and quickly realized she had the Konoha High uniform on, she was from her own school.

She walked forward to the older girl, "Hey, I'm Jacky." She wanted to at least introduce herself to one of them, the younger girl seemed too terrified to speak. Meanwhile, Blue stared up at the girl, seeing pain and saddness in her eyes and tried to comfort her. She put kindness into her gaze and moved slowly and cautiously as to not scare the girl. She gently reached over to her hand, (the one not holding the sandwich) and lickedit ever so carefully, as to not scare her. She just wanted to tell the girl that it was all right, and even dogs could help people with emotional baggage. Actually, they were better than humans most of the time.</sup>

[Tasha]

Tasha blinked for a few moments, wondering what to say. It's not everyday you come up to a teenage girl and a beaten 8 year old. But, she shook her head slightly and then replied.
"Hi...my name is Tasha, though I like to be called Arya."
Her eyes shifted from Jacky to Blue and then to Yang, who still looked terrified.

"I guess you're wondering what happened, ne?" Tasha asked, her concerned eyes now on Yang. "It's quite a long story that I hardly even know...."
She turned her gaze back to Jacky, curious about the girl. Most girls(preps....) would've freaked out and accused her of doing such a thing. When it was actually Tasha who was feeding and trying to care for Yang! This one was different, though, and Tasha could tell by how she hadn't just plain screamed in horror.

Yang remained still as Blue licked her, but she blinked when she did. She gave a small flinch as well, but then turned her head. She looked into the dog's lively blue eyes, which held kindness in them. She had never known a dog to be harmful, so she reached out slowly and touched Blue's muzzle. Warmth, she felt the warmth of the fur on her. Yang cautiously reached up and then began to pet Blue head, her gaze actually on her pointed ears. Pointed ears on a dog had always been fun to play with, and they were usually fluffy!

<sup>Jacky blinked and turned her head to look at Tasha, a sparkle of fear danced in her eyes, she didn't try to hide it. Her violet-tinted brown eyes were wide and her brow was furrowed in worry. This girl's situtation scared her, but she would do anything to help this poor girl, Jacky immediately felt for her. She shook her head to shake her from the awed trance and gave Tasha a small smile. She let her face fall a little so her expression was serious, "Tell me what you can, I just want to help." Jacky smiled again and gave a slight nod of reassurance to Tasha, everything would turn out alright, or so Jacky hoped.

Blue gave a slight grin as the girl finally gave in and began to pet her, she relaxed from her slightly tense state and continued to gaze up at her. Her fuzzy black tail began to wag gently behind her and her ears were perked up towards her. As she touched them, they flicked slightly but stayed in place, she didn't mind that she touched her ears. Blue was a pretty care-free dog and was great around little kids, even with her being a wolf. She was extremely smart and she used that to her benefit. She would help this girl the best she could.</sup>

[Tasha]

Tasha sighed, her gaze going over to Yang. Then it shifted slowly back over to Jacky as she contemplated no what to say. Then, she began to tell all that she knew, which wasn't that much. Yang hardly ever talked about when she was with the males, so Tasha didn't know much.

"Alright, this girl's name is Mizuno, Yang and use to be happy. But then, when she just turned 3, males kidnapped her. They've had her for 6 years now and use her for...things...pleasurable purposes."
Tasha winced, noticing how Yang had frozen up again. She looked into her blank, gray eyes and saw the fear there. Tasha moved her hand, placing it gentle on Yang's shoulder to comfort her. She didn't like it when Yang was afraid.

"Right now I have Yang and I have helped her hide. But, it seems that the men keep finding and dragging her back. Though, I will continue to care for her, no matter what."
She stopped there, looking from Yang to Jacky. Yang had slightly relaxed, Tasha noticed, and was now munching a little on her good again.

<sup>Jacky listened intently and instead of her eyes widening in shock, they narrowed in anger. How could someone possibly do that to such a young and innocent angel of a girl. Jacky just wanted to reach over and hug her, and to keep her safe forever. She sighed and nodded, she would find out who did this to her and she and Blue would kick their asses. She smirked at the thought, but wiped it off when she looked down to Yang, she wanted to be her friend as well. So she extended a hand towards Yang, "I'm Jacky, Nice to meet you Yang."

Blue looked up at Jacky and gave her reassuring look, telling her that they were doing the right thing in the end. Helping this girl was the right thing and Blue wanted to slash the throats of those who did that to this girl. Blue made a silent promise to herself that she would find and kill the men. The world would be glad to be rid of them. But for now, Blue would have to wait and do that another time. Blue wimpered and yelped lovingly to Yang, she would protect her to no end.</sup>

[Tasha]

Yang looked at Jacky, then flinched away rather quickly from her hand. She stared at it, eyes filled with terror. Hands were bad, hands brought pain! She tried to cower away, but looked over at Tasha. She nodded at Yang and it made Yang stop and blink. She looked over at Blue, then to Jacky again. Tasha said she was ok...and Jacky did take care of Blue...she couldn't be that bad. Right? Her thoughts began to race, but she slowly crawled forward again and looked at Jacky's hand.

Her eyes held pure refusal to touch Jacky's hand, but she did look at her and nod. It was her way of shaking hands, to nod. She need not to introduce herself, as Tasha had already said her name. So, after nodding, she went back and cuddled next to Blue. She liked the wolf because she loved animals. Animals had never done her any harm at all. It's why she trusted Blue more than she did Jacky, maybe even more than Tasha. She gave a small smile, "G...good dog...."

<sup>Jacky took the nod as more than enough for her and drew her hand away and back to herself. She glanced down at Blue, who seemed to be in doggie-heaven, just being pet and adored made her happier than all else. She turned her head to Tasha and gave her a smile, at least they were helping to some extent, but it seemed Blue was doing much more help than Jacky ever would. But it was getting late and they had to get home pretty soon.

Blue grinned slightly and licked her hand again, she looked her in the eyes and then pulled away from her grasp. She walked to her feet and sat there, her body was up against Yang's legs and her tail was resting on her feet. Blue yelped again and opened her mouth in a dog-like grin, her long, pink tounge falling out of her mouth. She panted happily and her ears fell back into a relaxed position and she looked over to Jacky and Tasha. Blue knew she was doing good for this girl and she hoped she could actually protect her in the end.</sup>

[Tasha]

Tasha smiled, "seems like you made a friend, Yang-chan. That's good!"
Yang had merely nodded to her in response, and now Tasha looked at Jacky.
"I haven't seen you in our school before, what grade are you in?"
She tilted her head curiously, though it was obvious she was in a higher grade than she. Though, there was no harm in asking. Maybe Jacky could be a friend to her as well? It was nice to have some friends around.

Yang blinked tiredly, all she wanted to do was curl up and sleep. It seemed unusual for a small girl to have no energy. But, many people never really saw her, so judgement was no passed on her. She merely looked at Blue, petting her gently. She then looked at the two older females, thinking about them. She thought about how nice Tasha was and if she liked Jacky or not. She did, a little, it would take a while for her to learn to like people without it taking months. But, she was comfortable enough around her to not run away.

<sup>Jacky grinned and nodded then was intent on starting a conversation with this new girl, Tasha. "I'm a Junior this year, you look new, you a Freshman?" She gave her a gentle smile and continued on with her 'interrogation.' "So, you have any friends? I know a lot of people at the school, I can tell you the truth about them." She winked and gave a slight chuckle to her own comment. "Or any crushes?" Jacky wasn't really the popular type, she just knew a lot about the school and the people within it. She didn't hang out with the sterotypical cheerleaders, they made her want to rip her hair out. Jacky hung out with the mismatched, awesomely popular group, and she liked it there. Her friends were kind and she could tell them anything, definately unlike the cheerleaders.

Blue just continued to sit beside Yang, her tail gently wagging and she nuzzled Yang as she noticed that the young girl was sleepy. She rested her head beside her again and just sat there with her, comforting her silently as any other animal could. Blue decided to just stay with Yang as Jacky and Tasha got to know each other. It just proved that even though people weren't the same age, even a Freshman and a Junior could be friends. In friendship, age didn't matter in any way.</sup>

[Tasha]

"Yeah, I'm a freshman," Tasha nodded with a smile. "I have one friend, I guess she's one, her name is Hannah. As for crushes and other friends, nope. I don't talk to many people at school, as many find me strange."
She scratched the back of her head, the smile still on her face.
"How about yourself, Jacky-san?"

There she went again, using her little endings. It seemed Tasha was popular for using them, and she usually always did. Though, it was after she knew someone's name that she used them. Also by how much she liked the person, someone she hated, for example, would get baka. She was just awesome and wierd like that. She didn't know Jacky that much yet, so she used the most common 'san' for her name. Though, it might change depending on how their relationship turned out. If they were to be friends, she would use 'chan', most likely. If enemies, then baka or somethng worse would be used.

<sup>Jacky smiled, she spoke Japanese as well. She grinned, but decided not to overwhelm her too much, Jacky had been speaking Japanese for a long time. But as Tasha continued, Jacky just decided to explain. "Well, almost all of my friends are Seniors. They are all very kind, they just have...well, rough exteriors." Thinking of the four of them made her laugh, they really weren't as bad as everyone percieved them. "There's Sasori, who is more of a dreamer than anything else. He usually keeps quiet and goes along with anything, but he does hate being bored and he's pretty impatient. Deidara, is a loud-mothed freak, much like myself." She grinned and continued, "And he loves his art, he and Sasori get in constant yelling matches about weather Deidara's ceramics or Sasori's woodwork is better."

"Kisame is very much a big pushover. He may seem big and bad, but once you get to know him, he's a softie. He's smarter than everyone thinks, despite his dumb antics at times. And then there's Itachi." She smiled gently at his mention, he was perhaps one of her closest friends. "Itachi...is definately different. He is very reserved and doesn't talk a lot unless he's just around us, and he is extremely smart. I can talk easiest to him and he to me. They really are great." Jacky knew she was lucky to have such friends and she wouldn't give them up for anything in the world.</sup>

[Tasha]

Tasha listened to her, thinking about the seniors she had mentioned. One in particular she wondered about, Itachi. She passed the thought quickly, maybe she'd meet him sometime later. Though, she noticed how Jacky had smiled at the mention of his name. She wondered if Jacky liked Itachi more than a friend. But, she didn't make assumptions. They were usually wrong anyway.

She blinked as Jacky finished, she had a lot of friends.
"Sounds like an interesting group. I'd like to meet them sometime..."
Tasha's eyes shifted towards Yang, wondering what to do. Yang seemed tired, but Tasha didn't want to leave her. She hated leaving Yang, fearful the males would return for her again. But, there was currently nothing Tasha could do about it. Maybe later, but not now.
