Hannah sighed tiredly. She had eventually gotten up, and made her way to school. She, however, had gotten an early start, picking up books from teachers so she didn't have to do it after school. If she found an extremely boring class, she would probably do her homework in there, or just draw. Yawning, she found her way into the hall, her face in her sketchbook, her pencil gracefully moving against her blank page, starting out with simple shapes, and then finally made a head. She loved to draw, but sometimes, she got artist's block, which was extremely frustrating, especially when you wanted to draw badly and knew how to draw it, but you kept messing up.
Looking up every now and then, she made her way to her locker, and checked her combo. Will expert skills, the lock clicked and the door opened, grabbing her math book. Yes, she had the dreaded math first. It would probably leave her in a bad mood the whole day, but she had heard about the geometry teacher. Mr. Hatake. He sounded nice enough, maybe he could make math interesting. Stowing away her backpack, she took her sketchbook and Geometry book for Freshmen, and headed down to the math room.
Making it through the door, she looked around. Hannah was early. Sighing, she took a seat near the back so she could draw relaxingly. Not even the teacher was here. Was he really responsible? Fidgeting in her chair, she sighed. Her skirt was making her uncomfortable, she didn't usually expose herself like that, and she hated skirts, period. They made her feel too girly, and she didn't like being girly, not at all. She was a tomboy, more than anything, and actually enjoyed P.E. Hannah couldn't wait until the first sport would start, she would go out, for she was pretty athletic, thanks to her parents. She sighed once more, continuing her strokes, making Manga eyes, that was all she drew, though she could draw mostly anything. [/sup]

She had already drug herself to school and was making her way into the room. The brunette grumbled, some words being Japanese and others English. She knew quite a mixture of the two languages, and would often mix them together. Though, she knew more curse words in Japanese than other words. Strange? I think not! It wasn’t uncommon to catch such words, especially for her.
Mr. Hatake, she had heard of this teacher, but didn’t know him. Hopefully he wouldn’t confuse her too much. Though, she was aware that such a task was completely impossible. She never got anything about math and usually barely got by in the subject. How troublesome this class was going to be, especially since it was her first class! Might as well kill myself now, huh?
She took her seat and then just stared at her desk, bored. She had nothing to do while she waited for class to begin. She absolutely hated school, and never found any part of it interesting. Well, actually the subjects she enjoyed were ok, but not something to make her want to come.

Someone entered the room, finally, someone else came. It was a few minutes before the bell, but she didn't know anyone, why converse anyways? She could hear the footsteps, and looked up from her drawing. The girl didn't look like she was in a good mood. Who would be? It was the first day of school, summer was over, it was time to learn again. Hannah, personally, didn't like school, either, but if it was something interesting she was learning about, she would pay attention. Math wasn't one of those subjects. Art, she enjoyed. Band, she enjoyed. She knew she'd love her electives, but wasn't too sure about her core classes.
Hannah, disregarding the other girls mood, simply blinked, looked up, and greeted her. "Hi." She didn't really know what else to say, this girl looked a little lonely, but if she was going to snap at her, Hannah would leave her be. She continued drawing, but looked up every now and then to see if the girl was going to say or do something. Maybe they could change seats. Or if they had assigned seats, maybe they'd be put together, who knew. This was the only girl Hannah knew so far, and it was only by acquaintance. She didn't bother talking to anyone in the halls, they were sqealing with excitement and chattering. Cheerleaders were doing their little preppy things, which she hated. A LOT. Dumb cheerleaders.
Hannah guessed she'd just have to wait for the class to start, no one else was filing in the classroom, yet. [/sup]

Tasha had been just sitting there and staring at her desk, when she heard a hello. It made her blink and looked up. Her head turned and she watched the person who had spoken to her. It puzzled her, as someone rarely ever spoke to her at all. Though, her mood seemed to lighten up and so did her eyes. They switched to a semi-friendly look, yet the neutral was still in them. “Hello, what’s your name…?”
She wouldn’t both giving her name till she knew the other person wanted to speak. Though, why had she said hello if she didn’t want to? Ugh, all this thinking was hurting Tasha’s brain. Though, her thoughts them wondered off to something else, someone else. Her friend, Mizuno Yang, was waiting for her. She was aware that Tasha had school, and Tasha knew that Yang was probably fidgety right now. Tasha knew Yang was hiding in the park somewhere, and as soon as school went out Tasha was to go there.
Her attention then returned to the girl, waiting. She was an impatient person, but this never really showed. Not many of her emotions did when she was bored. Though, maybe this person was a potential friend?

Hannah smiled slightly as the girl looked up. She had made her interested. Good. She blinked once, as if she was puzzled, and then answered, but her face lightened up. Maybe they could be friends, she wasn't ignored this time by every other Senior or Junior, they seemed to be stuck ups and wouldn't talk to the lower classes. But, whatever, they could do what they wanted, Hannah just laughed at them instead. Hello, whats you're name? Her grin widened as she stopped drawing all together, and set her sketchpad and pencil on her desk.
"I'm Hannah Takahashi. What's yours?" The teacher still wasn't here. Geez. But, he was a new teacher, or so she'd heard others gossip. Who knew, she didn't like the gossip, and usually stayed out of it. All the girls ever did was gossip and start rumors, which pissed Hannah off, especially if it was someone she knew at her old elementary school. The bell was going slowly, but at least she had some convorsation. But she didn't mind being alone, lost in her drawings. It was the one thing she could do without being bothered. Hannah, if she wanted to, could pay attention, and draw, too, because she was multitasked. Yay for women!
She didn't know who to trust, yet, because freshmen girls could be cunning, and turn you into something else. That's mostly why she didn't hang out with a lot of them, most of them weren't like her. Hannah didn't mind that people were different from her, no, but she hated the preps and the girls who thought they controlled people. This girl seemed a bit different, though. She wasn't friendly or bubbly like most, which gave her a different opinion that this girl was safe to stay with. [/sup]

"I'm Hannah Takahashi. What's yours?"
She paused, wondering if she should answer or not. But, it was good to make friends, and Tasha had very few. So, she answered Hannah in a friendly tone. It was great to make friends, and it made school a lot less boring. "My name is ...Mitsuri, Tasha...but I like to be called Arya..."
Her eyes remained on Hannah, how was this girl in reality? Usually when you tried to make friends, your personality slightly modifies itself. You become a little happier and a little more tolerant, one could say. Did Hannah have a temper in reality? Or was she acting what her personality normally was? Was she shy? Outgoing? It would unravel itself if they became friends.
Then, Tasha began to wonder where the teacher was. She had seen him in the hallway, Mr. Hatake, he seemed sorta strange. He was the math teacher, and that made her flinch. Hopefully he wasn't too hard on his students, but he looked nice. Who knew? Her thoughts came away from the math teacher and back to Hannah. She waited quietly for what Hannah would say next. Hopefully they could strike up a conversation.

After the bell had rung Kakashi walked slowly into his room and hoped that no one would notice to much that he was gone. After he made it inside he was about a few mintues late, and he came in to see his class was only half filled. It was either this was going to be a small class, or everyone was tartied. "Good morning students." Kakashi said kindly to all the kids that was in his class. "As some may know I am Mr. Hatake." Kakashi leaned against his desk still siprised at such a low numbers a students. 'And people ask why I'm so hard on them.' Kakashi thought to himself.
"Anyway, lets start off with a little quiz to see how much you remember. If anyone can tell me how to find the area of circle is, then you won't get homework." Kakashi said happily pointing his right index finger around the room to see who he could pick. His hand landed on Hannah who was talking to Tasha. "You, thank you for volintaring." With that Kakashi sat down on his chair and putting his arms on top of the desk, waiting for the answer.
He knew this answer was easy, everyone that had paied attention in their middle school math class would know such a thing. He was not the easiest teacher to get by during class but he would like to give out quizes to see if he would have to teach such a thing again. So far he had enjoyed asking these questions.

Hannah smiled slightly as the girl gave her her name. So it was Tasha, huh? "Well, hi Tasha." She said, and moved to the desk next to her, since there were only a few more students. This class was really low today. Maybe it was just because it was the first day. Last year, the same thing had happened. Moving from the other desk, she grabbed her supplies, and set them on the desk next to Tasha's. That was her way of telling the girl she was friendly, or she wanted to be friends, or get to know eachother more.
Kakashi entered the room, and looked surprised by how few students were in here. All of them were talking, waiting for Mr. Hatake to come in. Finally, he was here, with not so much of a grand enterance. He introduced himself, and the class said back, maybe a hint of unenthusiasm, "Good Morning Mr. Hatake." Hannah, herself, didn't say good morning, though. She had just finished her sentence when Kakashi mercilessly picked on her. Though the question was very simple. Sighing, she started off with a few sentences. She hated math, but who knew, maybe he could make it semi-interesting.
"The area of a circle can be found by multiplying p (which is equal to 3.14) by the square of the radius If a circle has a radius of 4, its area is 3.14*4*4=50.24 If you know the diameter, the radius is 1/2 as large." Hannah answered simply, and blinked, looking at Tasha with a "I hate math, I hope it's over soon look," Hopefully someone unnoticed. Mr. Hatake probably didin't mind anyways, he was probably used to kids hating math. It was just a given. In an uninteresting aura, she grabbed her drawing book, and started drawing, though her ears were open and listening. [/sup]

Tasha's eyes had shifted over to the Mr. Hatake as he had entered. Her attention had been drawn to him for a few moments. Then it returned back to Hannah as he asked her a question. She had merely held a blank look, as she had no idea what the answer would've been. She forgot a lot of things over the summer, thus making her fall behind. Summer, she had been quite busy this summer.
Wait, had she heard him right? A quiz!? So soon!? Tasha wanted to slam her head on her desk, she was going to die! Her test score, she knew, wouldn't come back very plesantly. She would surely get a D or lower on it. What a way to start her grades off! But, now she was listening to Hannah answering the question and her eyes held awe in them. Wow, that had been a pretty smart answer to Tasha's ears. She then looked back over to the teacher for what he was going to say. Though, she had heard Hannah and her eyes shifted towards her. She gave a slow nod, "hai..I agree..."

"A very good answer Hannah." Kakashi complimented with a smile. Then said louder for the class to hear. "Lucky for you, no homework." He told them putting away the papar work that he had planned to give out as homework, it was not hard but was all about Areas and volumes. Kakashi walked to the chalk board and begin to cover some improtant faces as to the basic of geometry.

Hannah blinked boredly, though it didn't really show. She kept drawing in her sketchbook, the person she'd been drawing was advancing on. Soon, she made a neck with few strokes, and then, shapes for the shoulders and down. If Mr. Hatake asked her what she was doing, Hannah had a simple answer. It had a lot to do with shapes, so why not? But, in caution, her sketchbook was hidden in front of a notebook where she pretended she was taking notes. She'd already gone through these things in the 7th grade, so it wasn't very hard.
Her own brown eyes shifted back to Tasha, nodding back. Taking a breath, she started in a hushed voice. "Do you want to sit with me at lunch?" Hannah invited her new acquaintance, and she hoped they could be at least more than that, Tasha seemed interesting, at least in her eyes. Again, her head shifted from its position in drawing, and looked up at Kakashi. Yes, no homework! She'd already have a lot today from other classes, she could tell. They wanted to make Highschool a living hell, or so from her perspective. School was already hell, it didn't matter which grade. Mr. Hatake filed away his papers, and began writing on the board again, but she didn't bother look up. If only he called on her would Hannah answer, but maybe he had someone else to pick on, since she was already picked. [/sup]

Kakashi continued on with his leacture, amking sure to cover each and every detail of the basics and right after he finished he turned back to the class room. "Lets review this. But this time it'll be even better, If you get the answer right, I will let you have free time to yourself. You see class, if you study hard enough, you will have al sort of privledges in my class." Kakashi them wrote down a question on the chalk board.
'Does a ray go on forever in one direction, or both?'
This was as simple as the questions. Kakashi looked through the class room to see if there was any slackers he could pick but found non. "Okay, then you miss. Tasha." Kakashi said pointing up at Tasha.

Tasha had tried to listen to his lesson, but obviously it wasn't working. She had nodded to Hannah's invitation to sit with her, accepting it. So, now she had someone to sit with. Now, if only she could concentrate on this class! Her mind was always wanting to wonder off, and she tried to keep it straight. But, it wasn't interesting in listening to some math mumbo jumbo.
When Kakashi had called on her, Tasha looked up at him. She stared at the question on the board, and then pondered on the answer. Did a ray even go on at all? She blinked and then knew he'd want an answer. So, she answered him and hoped that her answer was correct. "Um...one direction?"

Hannah smiled as Tasha nodded in acceptance, Mr. Hatake was still babbling to the class while writing on the board. She sighed softly, sadly, bored already. But at least she'd made somewhat of a friend today, she didn't have to be alone for long. She wondered what other classes she had with her newfound friend, hopefully this wasn't the only one. No matter, even if they didn't have any other ones together, at least they still had lunch. Hannah couldn't wait until this class was over, Mr. Hatake was asking questions again, so she shoved her sketchpad and notebook into her backpack and leaned in her chair.
Poor Tasha was picked upon, and she didn't look like she had the slightest clue what the answer was. But at least Kakashi gave them a choice, which wasn't too hard. The question itself was very easy, general math from the seventh grade. Hannah meerely nodded, she was pretty sure that was the answer. This day seemed to never end. And finally, they were saved by the bell. It rang five times, and all ranks were out in the hallways, lockers slamming and what not. She didn't get up, meerely waiting for the rules to see if they were allowed to go on the bell, or if they had to be dismissed. Hannah gathered her backpack, slung it over her shoulder, and waited to be let out. [/sup]
